About the Artist

Kiana is a undergraduate with a degree in New Media from the University of Lethbridge. She dreams of continuing her artistic career in both digital and traditional media.

 

At a young age Kiana idolized animation through watching animated shows like Avatar, Teen Titans and Naruto. Her dream of animating started from there. Her skills with drawing and painting grew from watching her mother who is also an artist. From their she began creating her own characters and world building.

The mediums she tends to work in are; acrylic, watercolor, art pencils, and digital. Programs and apps that she has knowledge of are; illustrator, photoshop, premier, sketchbook and procreate. Kiana mostly prefers digital and acrylic painting since she’s had so much exposure to it but is not afraid to try other mediums.
